Tagged: Buy Now button, buy now not working
Hi,
I have to say I really love your plugins. Been using it for over 2 years now I think!
I’ve just built two pages for offers that I want to send to subscribers this weekend and most of it is working perfectly except the Buy Now Button on my second offer page which is opened via the Pinoy Exit Popup Plugin. It just seems to hang at the part where the customers are transferred to paypal…
You can see it in action here:
Open this page: http://www.modelrailwayscenery.com/platinum-collection/
Then close the browser tab, and you’ll see an exit popup. Click “Stay on page”.
Then scroll to the bottom and click “Buy Now” on the offer for the £19.97 CD.
I’ve tried both creating the button using the shortcode method and manually using this code:
<a href="http://www.modelrailwayscenery.com/?wp_eStore_buy_now=73"><img src=http://www.modelrailwayscenery.com/BuyNow.gif /></a>
Which is how it’s showing now on that page, and neither will successfully transfer them to paypal.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Many thanks
Justin
That plugin is putting the content in an iFrame when you choose “Stay on the page”. PayPal won’t accept any checkout submission in an iFrame which is why it is failing to work. More details on iframe and PayPal checkout restriction here:

Fantastic! Thank you
Such a simple fix, just added target=”_blank” to my button on the second page an it works a treat
Fingers crossed the campaign converts this weekend now!
Thanks
Justin
