Tagged: Check Availability
I am using the onsite view for the affiliate platform.
I tried signing up as a new user with a username that I know already exists.
The “Check Availability” button did not recognize that the username was already taken. I tried clicking the Check Availability button and nothing happened. The button stayed blue and it seemed as though the username was available.
I then clicked “Sign Up” and the entire form cleared out and I had to fill in all the fields again.
Thank you for your help with this.
When you use the onsite (option 2) version for the affiliate area it can be affected by your theme’s code or other plugin’s bad code. You can do this test to see if the theme is blocking the Ajax request:

Can you post a link to the page in question?
Here is a link to the “Sign Up” page where the Check Availability button is not working.

*I tried on Chrome and Firefox.
*I tried activating the default wordpress template
*I’m not using any of the “not so nice” plugins.
Thanks
There seems to be HTML error on the signup page. This means you have modified the plugin code. I can’t troubleshoot your coding errors. Please load a fresh version of the plugin on your site and let me know and I will check out the issue again.
