Good day,
I seem to have an issues I cannot resolve. I’ve got customers who could come in and get two different subscriptions. One is a one time bronze membership and the second is a monthly gold membership.
Is there a way to set things up, if someone cancels their gold membership, instead of the system making them in-active, it will look to see if they’ve also got the bronze membership and just remove the gold membership and if they didn’t have the bronze, it then makes them inactive?
Thanks,
Frank
I am guessing you are using the multiple level per user feature:
You should be able to enable the following option in the settings menu of the plugin which will take care of it:
When a member’s primary level expires, automatically set one of the non-expired secondary level as his primary level
Also, the following is a good read:
Hey Admin, I’ve got that set but it doesn’t seem to work. I kind of thought that too. I’m not sure if their original membership setting is non expiring, though it should be – unless they completely refund.

What are you using in the “Subscription Duration” field for the membership level configuration?
If you have it set to “No Expiry or Until Cancelled” then it won’t work because the account will get cancelled as soon as the subscription is cancelled. Thats what this option means.
So make sure to use a duration value in the membership level. The duration value should be same or a little bit more than what the recurring payment period is.
