Changing subdirectory breaks thumbnails and galleries images

Hello

I want to change the subdirectory of my photo seller site from eg [mysite.com/photoseller/] to [mysite.com/images/]

but when i do all the images break. any help is appreciated. thx

Yes, changing that folder name will break the images. That folder is ONLY used by the photo seller plugin. Why do you need to change it?

Or by folder do you actually mean that you have your whole WordPress installation installed in a folder called “photoseller”?

How did you change the directory name of your site? What steps did you do?

i changed directory name on server manually, then changed wordpress site/home urls in mysql database, reset permalinks

So, you are “moving” your site; albeit, it’s a “small” move.

Did you follow these instructions?

Also, when you changed the URLs in your database, did you remember to change any URL in the post_content table?
