    Hi there

I installed eStore on domain 1, all working fine. I then changed the domain of the site and all my images and links disappeared as they were still pointing to domain 1.

When I edited the links of my various images around the site, to the new domain, they all reappeared fine – However, although I’ve been into the product settings in eStore and changed the image links they still don’t appear. Further, when I’ve tried adding a brand new product with the correct (new domain) URL, that doesn’t show up either.

I will say that it still seems possible to purchase a product, it’s just the image in the fancy product box that doesn’t show.

Can you help? Is there a setting somewhere else I need to change?

I also notice that in the settings, “Download Validation Script Location” still shows the old domain. Can I edit this manually to the new domain or do I need to do something else?

    Any help appreciated.

If any image is not displaying then it means that the image URL is resulting in a 404 or you are trying to use an image from external site with the “Enable Smart Thumbnail” option enabled (Please read the help text for this field and it will explain more). If you post a link to your products page I should be able to check more.

If you have moved sites then a good thing to do might be to go to the “Admin Functions” menu and hit the “reset eStore settings to default” button and it will recalculate all the default settings values for this site.

In case anyone else is having a similar issue…I also like the Search and Replace plugin for finding any “hidden” references to the old domain in my database.
