Change the size of thumbnail image

I am not easily finding if this question was asked before. Sorry if it has and please repost answer.

Is there any way to change the default size of the thumbnail image displayed?

The thumbnail images are part of the fancy display. If you change the size then the whole display can get shifted so it requires custom tweaking. More explanation on the fancy display customization here:
