Change text for 'Tax' on PayPal page

Is there a way to change the text for ‘Tax’ as it appears on the PayPal payment page?

We would like to change it from ‘Tax’ to ‘VAT’ as in the UK ‘VAT’ is the official nomenclature for this.

You mean on a page that is actually displayed by PayPal, and not the plugin? For that, I think you need to ask PayPal technical support.
