Change PayPal Terms Text

Is it possible to change the text on the PayPal subscribe page as seen in the image? When somebody checks out under terms it says in my example:

1.00 for the first month

Then 47.00 for one year

The first one is fine but the second one makes it sound like they will only be billed once after that not yearly. The text would make more sense if it said:

Then 47.00 per year

so they will know they’re being billed annually. I explain it on my site but here it sounds completely different. I searched the forums here but couldn’t find anything.

I am not seeing any screenshot that you referenced in your post. Are you talking about the page with a URL of paypal.com? Then the answer is no. Those subscription pricing texts on paypal.com’s site come from PayPal and PayPal shows it exactly how they feel they need to show it. They don’t allow you to customize those.

Did you configure the subscription correctly? The per year subscription is shown correctly. Post the URL of the page with the subscription button so I can take a look.

That is the one I’m talking about.

Copy and paste all the details from the “Subscription” section you are using for that eStore product’s configuration?

Make sure you are editing the page to verify the proper product ID is being used on the page (and you are not editing a different estore product). I have a feeling the “Recurring Billing Count” field is using a value of 1 for that particular subscription product.

I tested with a monthly subscription product and for me it shows the following wording in that page:

(Renews until you cancel)

Okay I figured it out. I had the wrong email address in tips and tricks WP eStore settings for PayPal. When I changed it to an authorized paypal email address everything is working. I get the following drop down menu which says the following:

SLS Vortex Group LLC
Subscription Details:
$1.00 USD for one month
Then $77.00 USD for each year
(Renews until you cancel)

Which is perfectly clear. Thank You.
