Change Affiliate URL

Hi there,

I am hoping to get an answer fairly quickly on this. I am setting up my affiliate program, and I tested a name to sign up. I noticed that when someone signs up it creates an affiliate link, which is a good thing, but I also noticed that the affiliate URL stays in the search bar. Not very attractive, and I know some of my affiliates won’t want their username to show up on the URL

Is there any way to edit this out? I have been an affiliate for many products, and I have never had this show up like this before.

The affiliate ID is the unique code to identify and track the referrals from a particular affiliate. It doesn’t have to be a name. You can instruct your affiliates to use numbers as their affiliate ID. For example the following could be an affiliate ID:

12345

In this example the affiliate link would look like the following:

www.example.com/some-product-page?ap_id=12345

Say I want to customtise the affilaite url.

for example I have already affilaite link say http://www.example.com/YYYY.sdusie

I want this YYYY to change the affialite id automatically so each user see this link changed YYYY with his id and can promote my other products?

Any thought?

The Affiliate platform plugin won’t be able to do what you suggested.
