I’m setting up my store and ran into a snag with display of an empty cart.
In the settings I have enabled an image to display then I created a page “View Your Shopping Cart” which only contains the <!–show-wp-cart-for-digital-products–> tag.
It works perfectly if the cart has something in it but when it’s empty nothing at all is displayed … btw, this was the case whether I had the image added to the settings or not.
The page is at http://myeasychristmas.com/view-your-shopping-cart/
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your time!
@asuservice, there are a few different shortcodes to display the shopping cart (each has it’s uses). The one you are using only displays the shopping cart when there are items in the cart. Please use the following to always display the shopping cart:
[wp_eStore_cart]
Remember all the available shortcodes for this plugin is listed in a PDF file at the following URL:

Thanks Much,
I did look over the short codes for an alternative tag for what I wanted to do. I just looked again and the one you mention here isn’t there or am i going blind?
Please look in the PDF file that is linked on that page. I am still in the middle of updating a lot of things so I haven’t been able to update all the images yet.
Gotcha … I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!
