Cart amount rounding too many decimals with coupon discount?

Hello estore legends

I am getting this PayPal error when I checkout with a coupon % discount and pay with my PayPal Pro hosted payment gateway:

Transaction unsuccessful!

There was an error with your credit card processing

Error Code: 10413

Error Message: The totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts.

My guess at what’s happening is that the % discount is being applied to my before tax amount and then the total tax inclusive checkout amount is £4.3968. Since PayPal rounds that to £4.40 and tries to checkout it registers that £4.40 does not equal the cart amount of £4.3968 and returns an error.

Does that seem like what could be happening? Any guidance on how we can workaround the issue?

I didn’t see any issue when I added an item from the above mentioned URL then applied the coupon and did a checkout. I was on the PayPal checkout page and could pay.

Does it happen when the multi-currency converter is used?

It only happens when checking out through our hosted PayPal Pro payment option. Select the ‘credit card’ option when checking out and you go to a payment details page. The discounted price is displayed, but when you put in credit card details and submit it returns the error.
