I just installed and configured the affiliate plugin and when you go to the registration page using the short code the required fields are grayed out. What is causing this? How can I fix it?

ok the normal (long string url) to the registration page works fine. The shortcode to integrate the login/signup form shows fine but the *required fields are not allowing you to type anything therefore not allowing registration.

Most likely you have a Javascript conflict on the page. Please post a link to your signup page.

All of the other text fields are fine. Its just the required fields that are grayed out. If i go to the regular registration page it works fine. The login in the option 2 is also the same way. The username and password areas are grayed out.

Thanks.. yeah the theme or another plugin’s CSS or Javascript is making the required fields grayed. You probably haven’t read the “Note section” on the documentation page:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/setting-up-the-affiliate-viewarea-315

This is what the note section says:

Note: One thing to keep in mind when using option 2 is that the affiliate area is embedded on your wordpress page so the look and feel of the affiliate view can be affected by your theme or other plugin’s CSS code as they are sharing the same space.

You can do the following test to find out which plugin or theme is causing this:
