February 20, 2012 at 5:14 am #5605VirtualBiz MemberI tried to add a new product page but when I try to go into estore from my dashboard, it pops out of the dashboard and onto the Home page of the site. Never had trouble getting into estore before. Can’t get into any of the store options just keeps poping to the home page. Any ideas? Thanks, Joy February 20, 2012 at 11:53 am #42150Peter MemberHi, Can you please try the following tests to see if another plugin or maybe your theme is causing a conflict with eStore: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin February 21, 2012 at 6:49 am #42151VirtualBiz MemberThanks for the quick response Peter. I had the WP Firewall plugin which was causing the problem. Once I deactivated it, all was fine. Do you have any security plugin suggestions other than WP firewall that does work well with eStore? Joy February 21, 2012 at 11:16 pm #42152admin KeymasterI personally don’t use a security plugin because WordPress is pretty secure itself. So I don’t have a recommendation. Most of the time these *firewall* plugins don’t allow normal operation needed for an e-Commerce site. For example, the “Bad Behavior” plugin blocks payment notification from PayPal. So you just need to go through the options of that plugin and enable or turn off features that won’t allow you to communicate with the payment gateway (which is an external site) for example. Look for a *firewall* plugin that allows you to selectively control what operations you want to enable or disable (rather than that plugin blocking everything that it thinks is dangerous). October 21, 2014 at 4:12 am #42153Lazeh MemberI have the problem that wordpress jumps to the home page screen as soon as I click on any of the wp-estore menu items from within the dashboard. I’ve de-activated all my plugins and it’s still happening. I am running wordpress 4 using the Vantage Premium theme. This is causing me a big problem with my customers because I can’t access anything within estore October 21, 2014 at 4:27 am #42154admin KeymasterCheck your .htaccess file, have you (or another plugin) added content in that file? October 22, 2014 at 1:25 am #42155Lazeh MemberI double-checked my plugins and somehow I had missed deactivating a few of them. Damn! Anyway, by process of elimination I discovered that the Wordress Firewall 2 was the culprit. Thanks, all sorted.
