Can't get basics to work — does it matter that I downloaded zip file to my com?

Hi, I am just not good at this stuff, but am trying to get basic shopping cart on this nonprofit website. I have deleted everything but the code to this:

When you click the first button, the shopping cart appears, with 1 in quantity. When you click the second button, the first shopping cart dissapears and is replaced by the second one. If you try to change quantity, the cart dissappears.

It is almost always something stupid I have done when I run into these troubles. In this case, I downloaded the zip file to my computer and installed to the WP site from there, and I am wondering if that molluxed things up. I then tried to reinstall from the WP plugins page, but couldn’t because I had already installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been struggling with this for hours, and can’t find any site with basic instructions for people like me. : )

You explanation suggests that that the PHP session on your site isn’t working correctly. Please contact your web hosting and request them to fix your PHP session issue. I think that will solve the problem.
