I am trying to change my paypal shopping cart button and everything I read talks about changing the image in the image directory inside the wp eStore plug in but I can’t seem to find mine, am I looking in the right place? Attached is my wp eStore plug in screen where I am assuming I’m supposed to be looking.

August 20, 2011 at 10:09 pm #35740adminKeymasterThe best way is to login through the FTP and browse to this plugins folder and you will see a directory called “images” inside it.
If you never used an FTP program before then have a look at the installation video (1st video) on this page that shows you how to use FTP a little bit (the 2nd half of the video):

August 20, 2011 at 11:13 pm #35741illiMemberOK, I found the image directory but now I need to know how to overwrite the checkout_paypal.png and paypal_checkout.png image file, there is only an open option and no view or edit option. Just to be sure are these the correct steps: 1. created my custom paypal.png button 2. upload that image to my wordpress library 3. copy the end file name (ex. checkout_paypal.png) of my custom file and not the entire wp file name 4. then open up WFPT or FPT? and then overwrite the existing paypal.png file which I’m not understanding how to do. Sorry for my ignorance.
August 21, 2011 at 5:07 am #35742adminKeymasterYou don’t need to upload it to WP media library.
1. Rename your custom image file to “checkout_paypal.png”
2. Open FTP program and connect to your server.
3. Browser to the images directory of this plugin: “wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/images”
4. then upload that custom image file here. This will ask for confirmation (since you are about to overwrite a file)… confirm the overwrite and done.

That is the message I get, so I guess that won’t work. If you don’t know of another way it’s no big deal, I can live with it.
August 21, 2011 at 5:49 am #35744adminKeymasterYou rename the image in your local computer then you upload it to the server overwriting the existing one.
You need to learn how to upload media files to your server using a normal FTP program (like FileZilla). Check out a few video tutorials on that then you will be able to upload images to any folder on your site (Google should help you find a few good video tutorials on that).
