I saw this problem posted a year ago but the answer was resolved privately. I can add Free membership level but when I go to add another member level like charter or premiere I fill out the information and click Submit nothing happens. It’s like the submit button doesn’t work.
I have deactivated and removed files and reinstalled but it is keeping all the data. Do I need to remove the files manually?
Thanks!

The easiest way to resolve this is to deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin then get a fresh build from here and install that:
May 22, 2011 at 5:53 am #32758MChernenkoffMemberI tested WP eMember on our test site (a localhost install on a laptop) and it worked wonderfully.
I installed WP eMember on our main WP installation and I could not get it to create a new Membership level. Like sjcwebdesign said, the Submit button just doesn’t seem to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but that didn’t help.
Are there any plugins that conflict with WP eMember?
Thanks!

May 23, 2011 at 2:11 am #32760MChernenkoffMemberI installed fresh on the production server, but I used an update file instead of an install file.
I purchased the WP eMember and installed it on the localhost development server to understand the add-on before moving it to production. I requested an update from WP and received that file. I updated the development server and liked the new login shortcode. I was ready to go to production.
I installed the WP eMember on the production server using the update file. That was when I found that the Submit button wouldn’t work when trying to create a new membership level.
I have trying a couple of things:
1. I uninstalled the eMember, deleted the folder, deleted the database tables to get to a ‘clean’ state. I installed from the original .zip file, but it didn’t work. The web server logs shows SQL errors that seem to occur while trying to add the new level.
2. I went to another blog on this server, installed eMember from the original file and tested it. It did two things – it tested the name of the new level (the other did not do this) and it added the new level.
I am close to moving my entire blog over to a new install (like I did in #2) if I can’t figure out what is preventing the Submit from working.
I really do appreciate your help and assistance.
