Cannot change subscription start date

Recent you made changes to accommodate those of us who wanted to be able to manually change the subscription expiry. To do this you set up in the edit members section a subscription start date which I can manually change.

There are a few problems I have uncovered:

1) After I have manually changed the date to a time in the future say 2016-6-23 I cannot change it back to an earlier date such as 2014-5-16.

2) The calendar is a bit tedious. Can I not just type in the address or at least have the calendar drop down fields actually have other years or dates shown?

You should be able to set any date between 1912 to 2111. please try installing a fresh copy.
