Can you use amazon S3 private/protected file option with mp3 audio files?

I would like to treat my audio files in the same way as my video files, putting them on my website linked to anchor text or image and protected within Amazon S3. I have not found out how to do this yet.

For the time being I have simply put a download button so they can download or stream it but if they stream they can see the URL and could easily share it so there is not much protection.

This is the code I have used fort he download:

Hi, unfortunately there is no option to play private audio files in lightbox at the moment.
