I’m wondering if I can automate subscriptions to my email lists based on what customers purchase. I have 4 ebooks for purchase plus one free download.

I want the free download folks signed up to my weekly blog newsletter list (nfwupdates2) (which seems to work fine).

I want the customers for 4 of the ebooks to be signed up to a customer list(nfwcustomers).

It seems that if I specify the list name in the WP eStore global settings it works just fine, but I can’t seem to specify a certain email list in the automation rules in the product settings.

Is there something I might be doing wrong? How exactly are you supposed to list the email list name in the settings?

Yes you can enter another list name inside the particular product’s configuration.

Just edit the product you are interested in and go to the “Autoresponder Settings” section and enter the list name there.

I’ll try it again, but for some reason it’s not working. I tested it again last night making a test purchase and it didn’t sign me up for the new email list.

When I enter the list name do I enter “nfwcustomers” or “nfwcustomers@aweber” like the example shows?

AWeber listnames should look like the followng:

    nfwcustomers@aweber

When you are testing it, make sure to test with an email that hasn’t been signed up already (AWeber won’t double signup the same email address to a list).
