HI,
I saw a post for a similar request in WP estore forum, but checked the setup page in the Simple Paypal plugin and didn’t see an option for this. Is there a way to have the focus (cursor) return to where the user pressed the Add to Cart button rather than refreshing the page and returning to the top everytime in the Simple product? We have a lot of options to choose and it is frustrating to have to scroll down many times to complete a conference registration.
wp 2.9.2
wp Simple Paypal shopping cart 2.8 (downloaded 3-13-2010)
Thanks,
Tom
Hi, This feature is only available in the eStore plugin. I will talk to Amin to see it if is possible to add this feature. If it is possible it will be some time as we are in the middle of testing updates for all our plugins and a few new plugins we will be releasing soon.
Cheers,
Ivy
Hi Ivy,
We downloaded eStore and tried the Shopping Cart Anchor feature, but it doesn’t seem to work, the page refreshes and the cursor is back at the top of the page, which is what we are trying to avoid. We saw a post– Shopping Cart Anchor from noone and they couldn’t get it working either and the last post in that thread is amin007 saying that he needs to take a look at their system. Is there a fix for this problem or do you have an ETA to fix this in the Simple Shopping Cart plugin per your earlier response to me?
Thanks,
Tom
The “Shopping Cart Anchor feature” in WP eStore should work fine. If you are having issues with it please post a link to the Page where you have the “Add to Cart” button so I can take a look at it and see what could be going wrong.
Hi Amin,
The eStore site that shows this behavior is a test site not reachable from the Web. The live site is still running Simple Shopping Cart. We wanted to test the estore before putting it up on the live site. Could you please provide me with a private email or phone number so I can provide you a way to get onto the workstation with the test eStore. Thanks very much,
Tom
