Hi There!
I have a question and I hope that I am explaining it correctly. Is it possible to have your plugin dynamically recognize the slug in the URL?
In other words, if I surf to abc.com/product1/ can your plugin recognize the slug “product1” in the URL and then call up the details for “product 1”?
I suppose another way to ask it is to say, can there be a short code [wp_eStore_fancy1 id=1] where instead of id=1 , the short code looks at the slug and then puts in the appropriate details for that product? something like [wp_eStore_fancy1 the_post]
Thanks!
Marco
P.S. Sorry if this has been covered already, I could not find it!
It can’t recognize the slug URL but you can achieve something similar using the Post custom field. This two posts should explain:
