Can people still join if allow registration is off in the WP settings?
I’ve created a paypal signup button per the documentation.
I get a ton of automated signup spam via the wp normal registration process. I don’t need or want people registering that way as subscribers so I unchecked allow anyone to register.
My question is does this interfere at all with the paid membership signup process?
Thank you

Yes, because WP users and eMember users are separate entities. A person does not have to be a WP user to be an eMember user.
WP emember’s users are created when someone uses eMember’s registration form.

No. eMember will work fine.
