but i’m not requiring an email.. have done a manual stamp and that worked fine

Hi, Looks like you are integrating the PDF stamper plugin with WooCommerce plugin. The email address is going to be a required field so you can’t make it optional.
You need to make sure that the download URL has the email address of the user (otherwise it means you have some setup wrong in your WooCommerce). Please correct that then do a test transaction.
mm so when i hid the billing field with email in it it freacked out… mmm user does have an email address in the system.. i have them signing up through gravity forms maybe i need to map the email address differently or twice..in the original rego form… its just missing being in the right place.. thanks thats a good start..
yep its the billing field in woocomerce.. thanks .. why does it pull from this field rather than the customer database.. why ? makes no sense to me..if a user is already registered then why make them go through a useless form any way to map the variables to other feilds?
Here is the thing… the error saying “Invalid email address” is NOT coming from the stamper plugin. That error is coming from the WooCommerce plugin. Deactivate the stamper plugin then you will see that error. Am I understanding your error correctly or am I missing something?
