I want to set up 2 affiliate programs.
I have 2 websites with Affiliate plugin installed on both [www.Doggonesauce.com] and [www.HelpingTheAnimals.com]
I sell hot sauce on the Doggone Sauce site and the affiliate program has been working great. I want to add a second affiliate program through the second site.
I want to give 10% to retailers that sign up to the program through Doggonesauce.com and 20% to Animal Shelters that sign up on HelpingTheAnimals.com and maintain 2 separate programs.
When I did a trial sale through HTA site it did not award or show up on that program. It did show up on the DGS site but did not award the percentage.
Can I set it up like that and how do I do it?
I love this plugin…. Thanks
Yes, you can use the affiliate plugin on multiple different sites. Think of each site as a different company that has it’s own affiliate program.
I am guessing the HTA site is the new site you are starting and wanting to add an affiliate option there. This site must work separately than the other site (meaning this site needs to process the payment and everything). Is that what’s happening at the moment or are you trying to mix these two sites together somehow?
Yes, I am trying to combine the 2. On DGS I sell the sauces and I want to create a second program that will refer the sale through HTA also. If this is not possible I will come up with another plan.
You can’t combine them like the way you are trying to do it.
