Can I set affiliate commissions separately?

I have some affiliates that, I need to offer them a specific, higher commission, as thanks for their help with a promotion. However, I don’t want all affiliates to get that commission. This is for a time-limited period that I will determine. Can I set the commission level separately for affiliates? And if so, how and where?

Yeah you can. Simply edit the affiliate profile from your admin dashboard and set the commission level you want.

Here’s another related question. I have one product that will give a 70% commission, but then the upsell for that same affiliate needs to be 50%. How do I set that up?

Use a product specific commission of 50% for the upsell product (the 2nd one). Product specific commissions override the commission set in the affiliate’s profile.

Just to doublecheck – put 50% in the Additional Product Details -> Product Specific Commission -> Primary Commission (and leave the 2nd tier commission empty)?
