Can I sell an item only as an add on item?

I sell beard products (Yes. Oil and balms for beards.) and what I’d like to do is offer a travel size item as an “add on item” if they order something else.

I’d like to sell it for only $1 (or $2), but it would cost more in shipping than it’s worth. So I want them to purchase the oil first and then offer the travel size for $1.00 with that order.

You simply offer that as a variation addon. Each of your products can have variation addons that you can configure via variation control. The following documentation will help you set it up:
