Hi, we have created some levels with a 365 days of duration. In some cases we would need to set a different expiry date for a single user. If, for example, he would finish on 31/12 we want to set this date – only for him and manually – to 05/10. Is it possible? In fact I see that I can change individual start dates, not expiry dates.
Can we set an individual expiry date also on the csv import file?
Thanks
March 18, 2016 at 12:20 pm #72794wzpModeratorIf you adjust the start date, the expiry will be 365 days from the new start date. However, any recurring payments will still be on the original schedule.
March 18, 2016 at 12:52 pm #72795assinewsMemberThanks for your reply, but I would like to set the expiry date in case my customer (for a lot of reasons) had less than 365 days… and the number of days could be different for everyone
March 18, 2016 at 1:35 pm #72796wzpModeratorThe expiry dates are determined by adding the subscription term to the start date. On an individual basis, you can only edit the start date.
If you are not using recurring payments; you could create multiple membership levels, each with different (non-renewable) subscription terms. Then, all you’d have to do is just transfer the affected member(s) to the different levels. Just make sure all the levels have the same content permissions set (the same).
March 18, 2016 at 3:50 pm #72797assinewsMemberOk, but I don’t understand the difference within levels and content permissions: I’m using section protection in this way: [emember_protected for=”6-5-9″]
6-5-9 are level numbers that define 3 different type of contents. Can I create other membership levels to have multiple subscriptions terms without changing the shortcode? I’ve already used the same shortcode on hundreds of articles!
Thanks

Example: membership level ABC => no expiry date, have access to page “Videos”.
Some members in this level should have a test period first.
February 18, 2017 at 12:43 am #72799adminKeymasterPlease read the following documentation so you understand how we use the membership level to create a template for permission and expiry:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-add-a-membership-level-in-wp-emember-13
If you have a group of members that need something different, then you need to create a NEW level according to what you want then put those members in that newly created level.
So this new level will offer the same content but will have different access duration (based on what you are trying to achieve)
