Shopperama
MemberHi, my site is http://www.curryalamaison.com. I sell pots of curry. Each pot
sells at 6 or any 3 for 15. Shipping is free on orders over 30. I’ll
be processing payments via PayPal standard. I believe PayPal can deal
with the free shipping on order over 30. Can WP estore deal with the quanity
pricing?
Thanks,
Malcolm

ParticipantWP eStore doesn’t do quantity based discount yet. I am extending the functionality of the discount/coupon feature so this can be done.
Update: This feature is now in.

MemberI just bought the plugin because we needed something more than the simple cart which has worked great for months. Because of coupons and discounts this sounded like the one we needed.
Without quantity discounts it is not usable. Is there anything that I can do to give “2 for 1” discounts. I can change the pricing but when a customer hits the “Add To Cart” button the quantity of 2 needs to show in the cart.
Any work around until you get the discount feature developed would be helpful.
Thanks,
Beech

Participant@Beechnut, Quantity based discounts can be applied to the cart thru the usage of coupon code. When did you purchase the plugin?

MemberThanks for responding admin007,
I am a newbie to this version of your plugin. I did look through the documentation for some time before writing though.
In the “Manage Coupons/Discounts” I do not see quanity options other than assigning coupon code. If there is a way to create an “Add to Cart” button or product variable that would make the quantity in the cart read 2 with one click on the button. With the quantity saying “1” the customer may think that they will only receive one and not order.
In the marketing side of things, I am told that “Two for One” sells more than a 50% off coupon. Please help.

MemberI think this addition may have broken the way the subtotal order based free shipping option worked. Now if I do not want qty based free-shipping but only subtotal based free shipping I cannot leave the qty based empty but put in a value like 100. Otherwise all orders get free shipping as if it is defaulting to 0 in the qty based.

ParticipantThanks for pointing that out. I fixed it in the code and sent you and update.
