Can eStore sell products in an auction format?

We would like some of our product sold in an auction format for nonprofit categories. Is it possible to sell an item with eStore in an auction format? Thanks.

Do you recommend any plugins? I have a celebrity endorsed book that ill like viewers to bid on (a one off product), then I decide the highest bid so it doesnt have to be linked with a cart plugin, i can create a estore product for the winning bid manually.

There are technical reasons for why eStore products cannot be sold in an auction format.

Since this is an one off item, you can run your auction separately using a different plugin or a manual process. Then send the product to the winner manually via eStore. I am not too familiar with any auction type plugin so I couldn’t tell you which one to use.
