Can affiliates post to Facebook?

Since the code for the text and image ads are in HTML, can affiliates announce my product on their Facebook page?

Creating a simple affiliate link that you can post on your facebook or twitter is really simple. This document will explain more:

Basically, the link will look like the following (XYZ being the affiliate ID here):

http://www.your-domain.com/?ap_id=XYZ

Morning, I have tried adding my affiliate url with conversion tracking id to facebook ad’s external url tool to create an ad and it just won’t show up. When I take away all the code from the ?, Facebook recognises the url and then allows me to build the ad… Am I doing something wrong or have they changed their policies?

They may have changed the policy for the facebook ad section. Try the following:

1) Take your affiliate URL (example: your-domain.com/?ap_id=XYZ) and use a URL shortener service to shorten it.

2) Now, try using this shortened URL in the facebook ad.
