I would like to track my affiliates sales. My site has products set up in wp estore in four different currencies. Because aff platform logs all sales as American dollars I need to manually check each sale off and see if it was connected to a particular affiliate so I can pay them the right amount in the right currency. Is there any way of being informed not just when a sale has been made, but by whom?
Ideally what I would like to be able to recover is an email to me, the vendor, saying something like
*date*
*transaction Id*
Affiliate *affiliateID*, *affiliate name*’ *affiliate email*
Has made a sale of
*wp estore item number and name*
And if possible the *affiliate commission level (eg. 25%)*
At the moment the plugin doesn’t send a notification to the admin because the admin can always check the dashboard after a product sale but I wouldn’t mind adding an option to send an additional email notification to the admin.
Just out of curiosity… if you have 4 different WordPress stores in 4 different languages then shouldn’t you use 4 different affiliate plugin installs? That way you wouldn’t have this language issue.
No, it is one store and I use the functionality of wp estore to set the currency of each product, so each membership product has the option to be purchased in GNP, usd, euro or aud.
If the function to send another email could be added to affiliate platform I for one would love u forever! Especially if the email could include the info I mentioned above. It would save me a lot of administrative time, and help me keep up with affiliate sales and not get too confused!

I have added an option to notify the admin when an affiliate receives a commission. Please get a new build of the plugin then look for the following checkbox in the settings:
Send Notification to AdminThe email won’t include any details of the commission. You will still need to log into the site to get the full details of the commission.
On a side note: The affiliate platform has the ability to show you all the commissions earned between any give dates. So why are you trying to keep track of each commission manually sale by sale? Isn’t it a headache to manually keep track of these commission after each sale via email?
Just to add my thoughts here… it would be really helpful if the admin notification email did include the username of the affiliate who received the commission.
You can already do that. Simply use the {affiliate_id} email tag in that email.
