Buying subscritpions – non logged in members

Hi, another day another question…

I have set up subscription products, both monthly and yearly at [http://www.guitarandmusicinstitute.com]

My question is, what is the best way of offering these to people who have not yet created a free account? I want to make these visible, however, if someone just buys a subscription and has not created and logged in to a free member option then I have to manually create and send the buyer their login details.

Currently I have just put up warning notices that they must create and be logged in before buying…any advice gratefully received.

Hi mbrsolution, some things sorted, but I am still having problems. I logged out of the site and bought a monthly membership. The first time I did not get any email, second time I did…these are what I received:

Am I too assume that eMember looks to see if I am already in the database and therefore, if I am, does not offer me log in details as I am not a “new” member? If “I am” a new member, it generates the link to take me to create a new account with the payment wrapped up in the link so to speak?

Hello Ged, that is what eMember plugin does. If you are already a member it will recognize you and allow you to log in. If you are not a member then it will submit a form for you to fill in. I would say that most if not all membership plugins work in this manner.
