Buy membership on one site and use this to log into my eMember site?

I have two sites. One is an ecommerce site at Shopify. Another is the eMembership site I created somewhere else. Is there a way to purchase a membership on my Shopify site (an app there can issue a string of passwords and/or user names I’ve previously created)and have the purchaser use this to log into my eMembership site? I’m trying to keep purchasing to my Shopify site.

I sure do appreciate any assistance you might offer.

This one is a little tricky. We do have an API that you can use to create the member account remotely:

I am guessing you will need some kind of a custom script that executes after the shopify checkout and creates the user record for you.
