Almost everything works great with this procedure.

I needed to use the customer input label – thus I put a “yes” in the csv file for the “Use Customer Input” field and specified a “Custom Input Label”

The label got into the database great, but the tick (or yes – to use the label) did not go through.

Should I have left it untouched?

I only used the yes because in other question-like fields (downloadable etc.) a “yes” has been provided in the sample file.

    Thanks

BTW thought to mention that I was using the fourth variation control too – I think possible only via the excel file uploading.

Those field can be a “1” or “0”. 1 indicates that you want to use the “Cusomer Input” field.

I probably should have put an example in that column… I have updated the CSV file now to include it as an example.

On a sidenote – once the products are already uploaded (I uploaded a few hundred together) is there a way to like rewrite on them, like include the 1 this time and overwrite?

I need to correct several hundred -wondering if I could overwrite on the SAME IDs somehow – cant imagine going in to correct each one individually from the dashboard.

There is no option to bulk update but you can drop/empty out the full table from PHPMyAdmin and then upload the corrected CSV file again.
