I’m setting up a site with WP eMember to support an existing program where each member can “graduate” to the next level once they have met criteria, and they do so at their own pace. So not everyone at the “novice” level is ready to move on to “intermediate” at the same time. The program already has hundreds of registered members and maybe 20 or so members that are included in the graduation at the end of each quarter.
I already have the bulk importer installed to handle the initial input of users, but is there any way to make these promotions easier on the program coordinator? I’d hate to have to tell her that on top of the other adjustments she needs to make in other applications for the graduations, she needs to spend an afternoon going into one profile at a time to change one dropdown and then go back and do it again for the next person.
So, is your question related to bulk importing or how to upgrade members?
It’s about upgrading members. I must have removed a sentence and didn’t rewrite it: I was hoping at one stage to use the bulk importer to overwrite member profiles, but it just throws an error when the userid matches an existing record.
If there isn’t a process for updating multiple members at once, is there maybe a way I can tweak my copy of the bulk importer to allow for overwriting records?
