When I upload a zip file to do bulk photo upload via ftp to the wp_photo_seller/bulk_import,
it recognizes there are multiple files in the zip, but the images are are not extracted correctly?
i get missing images. The file names show up, but no images.
Debugging it a little, looks like the images were extract file, to the wp_photo_seller/ directory for the gallery,
but it never creates the watermark files.
July 23, 2014 at 12:02 am #64545PeterMemberIt could be that your server might not have enough memory for the watermarking process.
What is the php “memory_limit” value for your server? (if you don’t know your host provider will be able to tell you)
Also, please enable debug – go to Settings and set “Enable Logging” to “yes”.
Then try another test and check the photo seller log file.
Another thing to check:
Try uploading one of the individual photos contained in the zip file using the gallery settings uploader and then setting a watermark. Does the watermark image get created this way?
January 1, 2018 at 3:34 pm #64546terryMemberCodex lists supported file types for Images such as jpg and png, and it has a different list of supported file types for Documents including .psd. Can I upload my images to the WP Library as .psd? Same question for the Bulk Uploader, can I use .psd? I’m looking for a lossless image file type more universally accepted than .png. Since PS uses .psd for images all my images are .psd. I prefer to have the WP Photo Seller galleries populated with .tif files, but that is not supported by WP so I could use .psd if supported by WP.
January 1, 2018 at 4:40 pm #64547wzpModerator.PSD files are layered images, proprietary to Adobe PhotoShop. Are you sure that is the kind of file format you want to use? Anyone who downloads your .PSD files must use a program that is compatible with PhotoShop.
Can I upload my images to the WP Library as .psd?
Sure you can! But WordPress (and the plugins) will have “trouble” displaying any usable thumbnails.

- The .PNG format is a non-patented version of the .GIF format; both are lossless. The .PNG format was invented because CompuServe (and later Unisys) kept suing developers left-and-right over use of the .GIF format.
- Almost every application that accepts .PNG files also accepts .GIF files. Therefore, use of .GIF is “more universal” than .PNG files.
- The last .GIF patent expired on 2006-10-01. There has been a “slow drift” back to the .GIF format.
My suggestion is to simply upload your files in .GIF format.
January 2, 2018 at 12:20 am #64548adminKeymasterYou can offer the PSD files as an additional download for the photos you are selling.
Read the documentation titled “Deliver additional attachment files with your photos” from the photo seller plugin’s documentation below:
