When using the ‘Bulk Item Purchase’ addon, items purchased do not appear in the cart until after a page refresh is forced.
On the same page, other single items do not exhibit this same behaviour after clicking the ‘Add to cart’ button – immediately the cart atop the page is refreshed with any purchased item.
I’ve enabled the ‘Enable Ajax on Add to Cart Buttons’ and disabled any caching plugins without any change.
WP eStore v 7.1.6
WP eStore Bulk Item Purchase v 1.6
Wordpress 4.0.1
December 21, 2014 at 10:46 pm #67553adminKeymasterAre you using any caching plugin? Please post a link to the page where you have the bulk purchase items so I can check it.
December 23, 2014 at 3:17 pm #67554SludgeMemberAs stated, the WordFence caching plugin has been disabled as part of the troubleshooting process.

December 24, 2014 at 2:54 am #67555adminKeymasterThere has to be some other caching there. Have you asked your hosting provider if they are using caching on the server level? If they are, can they exclude that page from caching?
December 24, 2014 at 3:44 pm #67556SludgeMemberConfirmed that no server level caching is taking place.
Hosting is using PHP 5.5, xcache feature is definitely disabled.
Have you replicated the behaviour in question?
December 24, 2014 at 5:46 pm #67557SludgeMemberI notice that each time I refresh the page, it’s adding the last couple of bulk sales items to the shopping cart.
December 25, 2014 at 12:08 am #67558adminKeymasterI can see the issue on your site but not on any other site. Is this a new site that you have just setup recently?
December 25, 2014 at 12:29 am #67559SludgeMemberSite was setup back in October.
As stated, WP eStore generally works well. This frustratingly odd behaviour seems limited to the Bulk Item Purchase add-on.
December 26, 2014 at 12:57 am #67560wpCommerceModerator@Sludge, we will need to take a closer look at your site to see what is happening. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
December 26, 2014 at 4:59 pm #67561SludgeMemberFilled in and submitted!
December 28, 2014 at 12:16 am #67562SludgeMemberFantastic – I received the email saying everything has been fixed.
Can I ask what the resolution was?
December 28, 2014 at 11:00 pm #67563adminKeymasterThere was a conflict with the ajax query on this site. We applied a fallback method for it in the addon.
December 29, 2014 at 2:48 pm #67564SludgeMemberThere were changes made directly to the plugin’s code? Will these be lost in the event I update WP eStore or the Bulk Item Purchase addon?
December 29, 2014 at 10:31 pm #67565adminKeymasterThe changes were committed to the core addon’s code. So in the future when you upgrade, everything will be there.
December 30, 2014 at 12:33 am #67566SludgeMemberOK. I was hoping for some details so I can better understand and effect a repair if needed for any updates and upgrades.
That being said, thanks again for all your help and time. All the best in the New Year.
