This is just a test page. Click on the huge logo on the page and the mp3 comes up and plays but not in a pop up window. It covers the whole page. It might be a java script conflict but I don’t know what to do from here.
This is wordpress v.3.3.1 and WP Lightbox – v1.5.8
This is the short code I am using:

This is a great plugin and the only one I know of that will play mp3’s in a popup window.
Hi, I’m not sure what javascript file is conflicting with it. We don’t recommend anyone to use Lightbox special shortcode anymore. So we are working on a new shortcode to play mp3 file. I will let you know once it is finished.
Hi, we have added a new shortcode to play mp3 file. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).
You can copy the shortcode from the shortcode reference guide (MP3 File Lightbox Overlay Popup section):
