I have a page with a list of songs, each of which when clicked on, produces a lightbox vid. However sometimes(not always) when I just move the mouse over the links, they uncover a video image as if I were using a “paintbrush”. What is the problem?
Here’s the page:
Can you please install a fresh copy of the plugin to see how it goes?
Installed latest build. No luck. But much worse, just discovered that after designing this whole thing in Chrome, it doesnt even work in Explorer. Can you explain why b4 I have to completely abandon this thing due to a deadline?
Hi, the issue you are having is very strange. It’s happening only on IE8.
We need to take a closer look at your site to troubleshoot this. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. let me know if you don’t receive it.
I also show the vids not working in Firefox.
Because I’ve put so much time into this project and have a deadline, I am considering just copying most of my code, deleting the site, reinstalling WP and starting again. Can you at least tell me that lightbox Ultimate normally works in IE8 and Firefox? If I knew that, then I’d feel like it was worth trying. Thanks
Hi, The YouTube video shortcode doesn’t have any issue with IE8 or Firefox. We couldn’t figure out the issue just by checking the “source code” of your webpage. That’s why we need to take a closer look at your website.
I just checked your webpage on Firefox (using the latest version – 15.0.1). The videos are playing fine.
I reinstalled WP today, and after some testing, I have video playing no problem from Amazon S3 on IE8, Chrome and Firefox. So far, no “paintbrush” effect. Thanks for your replies, I appreciate it.
You’re welcome. I’m glad to hear that it’s working for you now.
