    Hi Peter,

Is there a way of batch transferring images between different galleries please?

It isn’t always possible to know when building a site from scratch exactly what the eventual gallery structure will be. It would be really useful to be able to tick the boxes of say 50 images and move them to a new sub-gallery or similar in one hit.

The only way I can find is to “exclude” a batch from a gallery under “Bulk Actions” but that means you have to pull the individual images out of the media library (they may be dispersed in alphabetical order and not in a batch) to insert in a new gallery – cumbersome and time consuming.

    Can you help please?

No this is currently not possible and also it is not a trivial task to add such a feature because a lot needs to happen under the hood to achieve it.

We will put your suggestion on our “maybe” list but I don’t anticipate that it is something that can be implemented easily or quickly.

    OK – thanks.

Is the method I describe (exclude and re-pick) the best/only way you are aware of of, or is there a work-round please?

I would first create the new gallery and pick the images from the other gallery that you want. (the plugin will create copies of these images)

Then I would edit the original gallery you picked the images from and “delete” them from there – so that you don’t have duplicates in each of the gallery folders.
