Hi, I have active integration of Mailchimp to eMeber. Whenever new member signs in, she gets one confirmation email from eMember and also the set of double optin confirmation emails from Mailchimp. Can I supress sending the eMember confirmation email?
Thanks,
Pavel.

The email the customer receives from the autoresponder is the one that tells them that you have been added to a list and you need to confirm. That email comes from the autoresponder (this is not something eMember sends). Autoresponders like to send a confirmation email to the users to make sure they really did signup for a list (this is to avoid spamming)

Whenever a member signs up on my site they get 1 email from eMember which is fine, but as soon as they complete registration, they get 1 registration complete from eMember which is fine BUT 2 identical messages from Mailchimp asking the user to confirm subscription to the list. WHY do they get two completely identical confirmations from MailChimp?
March 7, 2013 at 11:01 pm #27326adminKeymasterThe following is something you configure in your MailChimp account (this is not something eMember does):
WHY do they get two completely identical confirmations from MailChimp
You can enable the “Disable Double Opt-In” option in the MailChimp settings to disable double opt-in so the user gets subscribed to your mailchimp account by force (won’t ask them to confirm the list signup).
April 27, 2013 at 11:07 pm #27327jgroupMemberMy problem is similar. We do not want the plug-in to send out either an opt-in confirmation or an email with download link. The opt-in confirmation is being handled through AWeber and that is where we want it to come from and the message text we want them to get.
The download link is being provided already by a Success Page that displays as soon as the person completes the plug-in opt-in form.
We want to disable both emails (confirmation and download link) in the plug-in. Kindly provide clear instructions for how to turn these OFF. If they cannot be turned off, we then would like to reword these emails. How would we do this?
We do not write PHP so if that is required, how much $ to do this for us?
thanks.
April 29, 2013 at 12:58 am #27328adminKeymaster1) The plugin never does the following. The opt-in confirmation is a mandatory email that comes from AWeber (whenever someone is signed up to a list, AWeber sends that user an email). You can ask AWeber to not send it:
We do not want the plug-in to send out an opt-in confirmation
2) To turn off the automatic sale notification of eStore plugin, go to eStore settings and uncheck the following option:
Send Emails to Buyer After Purchase
