Hi there,
I use your eStore-plugin, your affiliate-platform-plugin and Wishlist Member. It’s perfect except one link:
I would like to sign up my customers automatically as affiliates.
So:
Mr X buys my product. After thepayment with PayPal he lands on the registration page of Wishlist Member. After choosing a username and a password he is automatically registered as affiliate, too.
Wouldn’t this be cool? Your customers are also your affiliates and can promote your product.
It there a tweak for this?
Regards from Switzerland

Now, the issue here is that WishList members plugin is the one that will have to make the call as that’s the plugin that knows when someone submits the registration form.
I have added an API in the WP Affiliate Plugin so any other plugin can make a call to that API and provide the user details and the plugin will automatically create the affiliate account for that user.
So, please ask the Wishlist guys if they have any option of integrating a 3rd party affiliate plugin to create an affiliate account with the recently signed up member.
January 12, 2011 at 2:03 pm #22820Panduan Belajar SEOMemberCan this be done through eStore?
So every buyer simply become affiliate, unless they have purchased previously and using the same email address (so the plugin will check if the email has been used).

If eStore does it then the buyer will have to get a randomly generated affiliate ID as there is no way to enter an affiliate ID and verifying that the ID is not used in the normal purchase process.
January 13, 2011 at 11:15 am #22822Panduan Belajar SEOMemberI guess you are talking about eStore as a standalone plugin?
I was talking about eStore + AffiliatePlatform. Is it really that difficult?
January 14, 2011 at 4:01 am #22823amin007ParticipantIt is easy to do as long as you don’t care if the created affiliate’s ID is a randomly generated string as there is no option to ask for the affiliate ID to the customer in eStore’s normal checkout process. Even though these plugins integrate well, they were developed as standalone plugins so when we add features to integrate them more we try to make sure that it doesn’t make them too much dependent on each other.
January 16, 2011 at 3:20 pm #22824Panduan Belajar SEOMemberSo, it’s possible. Do you have any plan to integrate the feature?
January 17, 2011 at 8:35 am #22825amin007ParticipantYeah I will add a feature for this within a few days.
