    Hello,

I have already registered all the products in my eStore, all with tax. I know there is a free plugin with the name: “eStore_receipt_creator” that I suposse creates automatically a receipt for the buyer. Is that correct?

Then, is there a way to create automatically an invoice? With tax and other concepts.

    Thanks in advance.

…is there a way to create automatically an invoice?

No. To be legally clear; eStore issues receipts, not invoices. Receipts are acknowledgements of payment. Invoices are demands for payment.

The purpose of eStore is to sell products, collect payments, and deliver paid-for products. What is the specific use-case you are trying to accomplish, that requires invoicing?

As a footnote: I’ve been asked why Amazon uses the term “invoice.” That is because they do not charge your credit card, until your ordered items actually ship. What you see at (Amazon) checkout is the “demand” they intend to make, when your items ship. In the case of eStore, customers receive a “receipt,” after the plugin collects their payment.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

I sell services in advance to companies, agencies and self-employed professionals. This group as “business entities” have to declare for their activity and there are different taxes (I live in Spain). The principal tax is IVA, all products and services of all kinds have this tax. Few activities are exempted.

In my case, as a self-employed in a professional activity as digital marketing, companies or other self-employed professionals that buy from me, they can discount 15% or 7% of my bill, and then declare this in a statement to the Ministry of Finance. Let’s say they pay the tax for me. If I bought from a company it would be the reverse case, I would have to declare the deduction I had. Well, these are the system here.

I think I will calculate all the the taxes and the result will be the price I introduce when I register a product in eStore.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    kyra
