Automatic Discounts – Can you only set up one automatic discount?

I wanted to set up a 10% auto discount for the purchase of 3 items, then 20% discount for 5 items and 30% discount for 7 items, but each auto discount set seemed to override the previous level of auto discount. Is there a limit to the number of auto discounts settings used or have I missed something in the set-up process for the automatic discounts?

WP eStore only allows one auto discount option (auto discounts are troublesome so we only allow one).
