Automatic Coupon not applying

I have created a coupon to be applied sitewide applying a 10% discount on sales over 3 products.

When I test it in a manual transaction, it shows up in the cart. It even goes to paypal with the discount applied. Yet my customers have ordered 5 products and no discount has been applied.

I have tested purchasing myself on safari and chrome.

Any ideas?

Whatever amount it goes to PayPal with is what will be charged. So when you go to the PayPal checkout page and look at the amount value, is that amount the discounted amount of the full amount?

Yes, when I go to the PayPal checkout page the amount is discounted, however, I have multiple orders that have come in and been processed (through PayPal) that have not been discounted.

When troubleshooting, I did just notice that if I clicked ‘update cart’ while at the checkout stage, the cart updated and removed the coupon discount.

Do you have a reliable way of reproducing the problem which you say that you are occasionally experiencing?

Can you please outline the steps to recreate the issue so we can independently verify if there is indeed a bug?
