It would be great if WP-eStore could get feedback from an autoresponder (like getrespone call back api) API so that when someone joins a list a download link is automatically sent to them. Of course this would need to be pre-configured and I don’t know it is even possible. But I love having secured download links from WP-eStore sent out on the back-end. This would also more easily allow us to use any squeeze page layout we want plus do more split testing right within the Autoresponder.
Another option is to have an text link generator for free downloads (lead magnets)that can be used in autoresponder sequence where we just append the email address to the end of it. Someone opts in and that first email has custom link in it that is based on their email address and the free product they opted in for. This would work great for single and double optin.

The best way to achieve this is to do what you suggested:
Implement a callback API so it can listen for a subscriber opt-in action then do something accordingly.

We haven’t received any request for this to use with GetResponse. If we get a few requests then I will look into creating a module for getresponse:
