Hi,
I’m very satisfied with WP-eMember, very easy to use.
But I have one question I didn’t find an answer for : My online program starts every monday for 15 weeks. I want to use the Auto Upgrade option to manage the access of my clients but it needs to start on a monday whatever the date they subscribed the week before.
So my idea was to set Auto-Upgrade for all the 15 levels exept for the 1st level, for which I would create a level 0 (when they subsribe) and I would manually uprade the new clients to level 1 the first monday.
My issue : even if I do that, the number of days of the other levels are still based on the date of the client subscription.
Any solution to define the 1st level as the starting date ?
Benjamin
Hi Benjamin, I understand your requirement. WP eMember’s auto upgrade can’t do what you are after unfortunately. However, one of the following two options might work for you:
Option one: You only let people signup on Monday. The other days people can’t become a member. So, throughout the week whoever wants to signup for the membership you tell them that the membership will open on Monday and if they would like to be notified they can leave their email address (you collect it via a form so you can send them a reminder on that day). This is the approach product launch guys take.
Option two: You can get a small custom development done that will allow you to change the subscription start date of all the members who signed up in a particular week to a particular date (this date can be a Monday).
