Hello,
I have auto-upgrade set to upgrade to a new membership level every week (7 days, 14 days, 21 days, etc).
However every night the site automatically removes the membership level completely leaving users with no access to anything. (The membership level in the members table is actually blank.)
When I first set this up I was using multiple membership levels. I have now disabled multiple membership levels as I thought it might be causing the problem, but it didn’t fix it.
My setup is the following:
1. One single membership level for monthly subscription access to content.
EXAMPLE:
Tribe (expires after 1 month)
2. Multiple courses with content that is released weekly. Each course has the same number of membership levels as it does weeks of content.
EXAMPLE:
(never expires)
Course A – Week 1, Course A – Week 2, Course A – Week 3, Course A – Week 4, Course A – Week 5…
Course B – Week 1, Course B – Week 2, Course B – Week 3, Course B – Week 4, Course B – Week 5…
Help much appreciated!
Thanks!
John

October 14, 2011 at 1:56 am #37422DMartinMemberI am having the same problem. Just started happening now and each night the membership level disappears! Some pretty irate customers who I have sent emails to saying all sorted, having reset their membership to right level, only to find new emails in my inbox he following morning saying that their membership level is empt and content is restricted.
Really need a solution ASAP. Thanks
October 14, 2011 at 7:15 am #37423adminKeymasterCan you please provide some additional details like the following:
– What version of eMember are you using?
– Do you have the “Multiple membership level” feature enabled?
The user in the first post never replied back to my email so I never got a chance to look at his/her site. So I have sent you an email for site access too so I can check it out.

No, I do not have multiple membership level activated.
I will send you details.
I actually plan to set aside the auto upgrade feature soon and instead have separate modules for sale using the ‘Multiple membership’ option instead, where visitors can buy and access each module separately rather than month by month. I figure it would be good to take a look nevertheless to troubleshoot why this might happen on some installs.
June 25, 2012 at 11:50 pm #37425provision147SpectatorI have Auto-Upgrade enabled and have members set to upgrade on 14 day intervals, but they are not being upgraded at the set times. Nothing is happening. I have the levels (check boxes) checked for every level in each member’s profile. Do I need to set the expiry date for each level to match the Auto-Upgrade intervals?
June 26, 2012 at 5:08 am #37426adminKeymasterWhat version of eMember are you using?
What is the subscription start date value of the member that you expected to have been auto upgraded? What membership level does he belong to now?
