eMember – auto expiry email being sent every day after expiry

Hi, My expired members are complaining that they are getting a reminder email every day since their membership expired. I have just added an expiry email for 3 days after the expiry date (which I did not use, before). Would this likely fix the issue?

I have WordPress 3.8 and WP eMember v8.6.8

What you have done is good but can you also enable the debug option in eMember so we can get more details as to what it is doing.
