I’m getting this error when trying to checkout via authorize.net
The following errors have occurred.
(14) The referrer, relay response or receipt link URL is invalid.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jake
March 16, 2011 at 11:01 pm #30265wpCommerceModeratorCan you please post a link to the page?
March 17, 2011 at 5:46 pm #30266JakeyMemberFigured out the issue. My authorize.net merchant account details were incorrect. I updated them correctly in the eStore settings and now it works.
Sorry for wasting your time.
April 19, 2011 at 7:58 pm #30267rhpitguyMemberI am also experiencing this error:
‘(14) The referrer, relay response or receipt link URL is invalid.’
Is it because it needs a SSL (https: ) ?
Let me know as we have been seriously considering authorize.net.
April 19, 2011 at 11:57 pm #30268amin007ParticipantPlease post a link to your products page. What version of eStore are you using? What value do you have in the “Return URL” field in eStore’s settings?
April 20, 2011 at 7:43 pm #30269rhpitguyMemberv 4.0.7.Custom (you coded in a required field prior to checkout for the PDF stamping process)
Here’s one product:

You can even test it out at the moment by selecting auth.net option and trying to proceed. I do not see a return URL field for the auth.net option.
April 21, 2011 at 1:00 am #30270amin007ParticipantThank you for the details. It looks like the authorize.net login or transaction key details that you entered is not valid. Have you been using authorize.net for a while or you just starting to use it?
April 25, 2011 at 3:00 pm #30271rhpitguyMemberI know that the login id and key are correct as we have been using authorize.net for our other websites like d6family.com and elementskidsworship.com. What else could be causing the issue? I have disabled that option for now (paypal is the only method for now). Amin, did you see my other request (post) about the FREE DOWNLOAD option? I recently replied to that post with a request feature.

April 26, 2011 at 3:09 am #30272amin007ParticipantI will send you an email to get site access so I can checkout the auth.net issue.
Update: Turned out the authorize.net merchant account details were incorrect. The user requested a new set of merchant account details from authorize.net then updated the values in eStore’s auth.net settings. Now it works fine.
May 5, 2011 at 1:41 pm #30273winningMemberTry this, which helped me get rid of the error code 14
Add a Reture URL in the ecommerce plugin setting page (MUST HAVE)
Log in to authorize.net, and clike settings, you will see this screen:
Click “Response/Receipt URL”, and you will see this:
Click add URL
Add either the new site’s home URL OR the Reture URL you set above. Clean your browser cache and go to your check out page and try it.
(either… or … means one of them should work, if you try one, say Home URL, and you still see the error, clean your brower cache, and try again, if still see the error 14, try the other URL)
Good luck!

http://developer.authorize.net/tools/responsereasoncode
Enter your error code, which is 14
Posting a link to another post where another user had this same error and fixed it by correcting the authorize.net merchant settings:
